Last weekend had a "wintery mix" Sunday and on the way home from babysitting my two grandaughters I spied a neighbor whom I didn't know with an old N with a blade and chains playing in the main road. I didn't stop but I think I'll have to find him and get to know him. We can share war stories.

Hey Dunk,
I hope thats not the one around the corner from me that I have been trying to get a price on.
"NO Sale" so far. Witn in my general area, say with in 3 miles, I can count 4 8n'S , 2 9n,s, 1 TO-20, 1 TO-30 and one gentleman has 2 Fordsons as his yard art. I really would like to see what else he has hidden in that garage. There are several other later models Fords and others around this area. Good Luck, jackie

I'm sittin on the edge of 4 million people in Houston... I'm sure there must me a few around, but you never see em. Move just a few miles north and I know of at least 6 that work regularly mowin' or puttin' trailers. City folk just don't understand. And them that do are nto truely city down deep.

On our 2.3 mile road there are two other 9n/2n tractors besides mine. I am not sure that one of them runs. It looks really bad painted yellow and off white! The other is used to mow grass. I have seen it pulling a finishing mower.

Red,

I live in Berks County Pennsylvania. On my four mile stretch of road, there are three 8Ns', and two Jubilee/NAAs' that I know of. Still workin'!

I was killing time today in Grand Juntion Co.befor a flight so I went into a pawn shop and found a nice 1/2" drill covers by red overspray paint. It said 60 bucks under the paint so I offerd 20. The guy said I got 60 on that drill. I said thats some old sticker look it's covered in paint. He said that's because I took it home to stir paint for a tractor I was painting. Yep it was 8N red. We never could come to terms on the drill but we had a good long chat about the good old 8N tractors. He said he's owned all kind of tractors but the 8N he was keeping forever.

I know where there is a TO 20, or 30, or something like that sitting out in the weather, I have my eye on.

It looks sooooo neglected.

I just may have to go make an offer.
