Hey guys I have a rear exhaust leak around the manifold.I replaced the gasket about five years ago and noticed some damage to the block and now I gonna repair it.I know JB weld is good but I am wondering with all the industrial repair products is there one you think is better. Also will the products like JB Weld last long under this type of heat. Thanks guys. RM..... ..while J&B Weld is good stuff, theres better HI-TEMP stuff available out there. I'm not certain but I think there is a "hi-temp" J&B. Go Shoppin', you can read labels as well as I can.

You need to drill some shallow 1/8 holes to act like blind rivets. Clamp sumptin FLAT over J&B so you don't haffta pretend yer a milling machine. Piece'o'cake.

Tip: yer exhaust pipe to manifolt clamp BIG SIDE DOWN..... ....Dell

"Furnace cement" sometimes lasts a long time when used to build up a damaged exhaust gasket surfaces. It is similar to the "goop" packed with "muffler bandage" kits.
