Went to Wal Mart last night. Thought I'd look at a set of plugs for my N but the computer don't go that far back . Don't think they carry anything for my tractor! I have gotten hooked on the peanut butter cookies they sell but now they have NEW and Improved ones. Smaller, No peanuts, and look like factory made. The other ones were just like HOMEMADE and far BETTER!! BTW theres no colesterol in peanuts

The first thing you wanna do when you go into Walmart is look up at the ceiling and see which way the lights go in relation to the cash registers so you can find your way out.

Thought he said he went to Wally World for parts for his N and came up empty except for perhaps some cookies! Sounds like a life to me! Too bad the Small Town American parts stores and bakerys are no longer around, he would have had a choice of sources and likely would have purchesed both plugs and cookies as well as recieved with some real hospitality!

It's all a conspiracy!! To screw up the American Dream of LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERSHIP!! In my area..there are at least 40 GOOD LOCAL MERCHANTS that went outta business when the EVIL WAL*MART came to town! These were good folks that actually carried parts for the stuffs they sold! They supported LOCAL schools, and other stuffs, like the Fire Department & Rescue Squad, etcetc. Now they are OUTTA BUSiNESS, and now folks MUST SHOP AT WAL*MART! Which doesn't stock parts for anything they sell, except for lawnmower blades & other maintenance items. They want us to THROW AWAY anything that they will sell us so we can buy some more!! This is wasteful, costly, and makes the "landfills" (DUMPS) fill up too rapidly! WAL*MART IS EVIL!!!

To Blazes with Wal Mart in reply to andy (MN), 04-04-2007 09:08:15
WalMart has finally gone over the edge and is OFF MY LIST. They have now been discovered to have hired investigators to spy on employees, even while they are OFF DUTY and OFF PROPERTY to detect anyone who even talks to certain union folks or other groups about employee benefits, relationships, or personal rights. WalMart can go to blazes. I'm tired of supporting China anyway. I'm ready for my neighbors to have a decent job so we can all live decently. Alien protesters:...take your red/white/green flag with the buzzard on it and GO HOME. Employers: You hire one of those buzzards and you'll be on the same list as WalMart! I mean it.

I just put a set of H12's in my 8N and did a complete tuneup. Runs like a champ now. I bought the H12's at O'Reilly's Autoparts. I got the tuneup kit at TSC and when I opened it, it had a set of AL437's in it. So now I have 4 new plugs for spares.

Champion plugs are made in mexico.Check the box they came in.Heres the problem. The shells are made of a soft steel and they break off in the threads on removal. Its been reported on many times in a farm paper.I have had it happen on an Olds v8.I have seen some plugs that came out hard over the years but the shells did not break.A new cylinder head for my tractor costs 600.00.My tractor has autolite 216 plugs in it.I wont use Champions...

Why would you ever put Champion plugs in an Olds? I was told since I was a kid that GM products get AC plugs, no exceptions. Champions go in Dodge products.

Olds came with them .Ford used champions for many years.Proper reach, proper heat range use any brand in any engine.Doesnt matter,Just dont use plugs that are known for breaking off in heads....

My experience is that Champion is making an inferior product these days, and they won't last nearly as long as the Autolite 437's.

Careful, those WallyWorld cookies might have the same imported Chinese wheat glutin that the recalled "Old Roy" dog food had! Check the label and eating with moderation is suggested for now. Champion H-10 and H-12's carry a new more modern number these days, usually H-10 will be in fine print at the bottom of the pack.

When we had a regular Wal-Mart, they carried some parts for older cars and farm equipment. When they built the new Super Store, all such inventory disappeared.

The last one I went in it took me 3 days to find my way back out.

Thank gosh they already had accommodations set up in the camping area, and any thing you wanted to cook on the Coleman stoves.

Sure did git some strange looks from some of the other folks in there, but never did find anyone that knew the price on anything.

Do you have a NAPA near you? Try a place like that. Some plug numbers for you are AC C45L or 45L, Autolite AL-437, or Champion H12 (don't recommend).
