The PLUS and MINUS symbols are standard to Windows for showing where additional items are or if you have expanded the current level as far as it will go. For webpage use, it has its limits as pointed out. However, for me, it is a lifesaver. At work, I have to access the web via an internet monitor which monitors every click you make and every advertisement that changes, whether you visit it or not. By clicking the PLUS, I can get all the threads at once and not look like I have been clicking my life away instead of working. Before this, I went from nothing to highest user in 30 days. After using the PLUS, I dropped off the high user list completely.

If you click the (+), your computors history will not recognise that you have been there. I prefer to click each individual responce so it changes from blue to red and I know where I've been. It's also best for finding additional post after you leave and come back the next day.

Now I don't feel bad. Took me about six months to one day click on the + by accident. What a surprise. How did I ever live without it.

Steve,
I e-mailed kim about activating the "+" sign in the archives, but haven't heard back yet. Us poor folk on a dial-up sure would appriciate looking at all the responses to a post with one click!

Just an idea,

Mikey

Great idea for the archives. But for the current board it doesn't tell you when an additional post happens.

N — joy.

It is a left over from some failed "new" web page software that Kim tried over a year ago.
