Has anyone ever removed the 11" long pin that runs through the top rocker? I'm assuming I have the one at the top in the photo. If so, howdja do it? Mine is really stuck & has the tip broken off where the lynch pin goes. I wanna remove it so I can put some limiter chains on the outside ears.

Thanx, Poot

Poot...I used PB Blaster, heat, & a combination of drift pin & long cap screws w/ a hammer to drive mine out. Some patience is req'd too.

Poot..... ..the jinglin' longpin is made to bend in the middle so you don't haffta take yer fender OFF to remove or install yer 2-piece stab-bars that triangulate yer 11-hole draw to prevent lifting. Yer seein' 2-views (top & side) note the linchpin hole. Yeah, they ain't the same pin (different chains) The folding part is hidden INSIDE yer BIG HOLLOW rocker pin. Iff'n its stuck, then yer probably haffta remove yer fenders so you have room to swing a BFH. Lottza HEAT & loosen oil..... .Dell

Dell...have to disagree on this one.The top pin in the photo is a 8n486A pin.The lower pin is for a Ferguson. The 8n486A does not bend in the middle. The 8n pin used a 8n4110 bushing, which goes into the center"ear" on the housing. don b
