Are JASCO and OSPHO pretty much the same thing?
Because I could not find OSPHO at the store but I found JASCO.
Thanks, RDAllison

I have been using the JASCO stuff with great results. I use it full strength. It looks, smells, and acts just like the spensive stuff from PPG

I looked up both on the internet. I am assuming your talking about the rust treatment in OSPHO, I couldn't find Jasco Rust treatment. Maybe if you can clarify what products your talking about we might be able to give a little more info.

I was told to give my gas tank a OSPHO treatment but Lowes did not have the OSPHO but they had JASCO prep & Primmer. So I bought some because the first ingredient was phosphoric acid and I was told that the OSPHO was a phosphoric acid conversion.
Hope that helps.
Thanks, RDAllison

Im not familiar with Jasco, but the key is phosphoric acid. If it is the main incrediant, you have what you need, ospho is nothing special. These name brands can get pricy, look for phosphoric acid it is cheap.
