Well, I am bummed. I took the junker bush hog off OW and put the Quick Hitch back on. Fired up OW and backed up to the MX6 (man is power steering gonna be nice) and finally got the top hook centered up on the MX6 top link. Eased the lift up, closed the gates on the QH and gave OW some power and picked up the bush hog. OW couldn't handle it, only the front of that big MX6 would come up. I figure it's just too long and too heavy @ 1050lbs for a NAA lift to handle. Just to be sure I hadn't blown something up, I dropped it and backed up to Big John's rear ballast box and snatched it up like it weighted nuttin. I dunno what it wieghs, but it is heavy enough to counter weight the front end loader, and that is real heavy, so I assume my lift is working well.

I would like to hear from NAA owners with 6' bush hogs as to the weight of their bush hog and if anyone has a Heavy duty bush hog behind their NAA please.

I have an NAA and a 5' brush hog. Of course, it picks that up no problem.

I was just at the TSC looking at those 6 footers last weekend. As I stood there looking at them,I though,"What A BIG %$#$%^ SOB!" Huge difference between the 5 and 6er!

Are you sure the third point arm is short enough. If mine is ajusted out to long then the front of my mower is all that wants to come up. I would think it should pick it up maybe it is the quick hitch?

I looked at that. I had it set up so it was level and plumb. I'll try it again with some 'lean back' cranked in.

Maybe try it without the quikhitch? not sure how much length that adds..but every inch there adds alot of weight that it has to lift.. I've got a heavy old 6' bush hog brand that has had most of the deck replated with 1/8" steel..my 8N will lift it.so that NAA should just play with it..

The QH adds maybe 2" to the length, and it is sooo nice to be able to drop that hog and pull OW into the garage that I can't live without it. Plus it just takes a bunch of hassle to hitch up with sway bars and limit chains that it is really worth while to be QH compatible, as all my atuff is. I could be spoiled...

Find your self some weights for the front. Or fill the front tires with fluid of some sort.

It's not a front end lifting thing, OW just ain't got yhr umph to pick it up. I have plenty of weight up front to handle it. I had always planned to carry a big bush hog, so I added foam filled tires and a heavy bumber, with a suitcase weight in the wings if I need it.

Well I can't say for sure on an NAA but I know the 3 point on my 841 will lift so much that I can stand it on its butt if I'm not careful and thats with a heavy duty front end loader on it. I have picked up the front ends on cars and truck with my 3 point hanginf off my boom pole and thats about 8-10 foot out back of the tractor so I would think yours should be able to lift close to that much if all is working as it should be
