hello i find a 8n with an diesel engine.Is this original ??
Has 3 cyl.

Never was a diesel engine put into an 8N by ford. So nope its something some one built so not original

Alain..... ...ah yes, the rare and illusive 3-cyl Perkins diesel conversion 8N.

Unfortunately, I don't believe you are looking at an Ford 8N. Most likely a semi-lookalike Massy-Ferguson 35.

This is not to say, someone could have loved the 3-cyl Perkins diesel so much that they cobbled-up somesort of adapter to fit. Afterall, consider the rare 6-cyl and flathead V-8 "Funk" conversions. Some have even adapted Chevy V8's and even turboshaft jet engines. You gotta'nuff $$$, you can fit enny engine to enny chassis. But as a general rule, the reason for diesel engines, cheaper fuel costs. As I said, the cost of a "one of a kind" Perkins Diesel conversion would NEVER pencil in the farmers bookkeepers expense books. ..... ..respectfully, Dell
