Here is the Quick Hitch setup to allow OW to handle the MX6. No, I did not hook up the drive shaft to the PTO, because I will have to trim it a bit first. The MX6 makes the front end pretty light, so the jury is still out on whether I will really work with this setup or not. OW has the PTO hp to handle the rig, but I would need some serious weight up front to make it happen. I need a weight bracket and a couple hundred pounds of weights to hang on it...

You should not attach anything that heavy to the top link - you are asking for linkage damage in the lift cover doing this. The top link is almost unusable to all but the very lightest of draft work. See if you can hook it up to the lowest hole on the rocker and shorten the top link shaft.

I knew that hydraulic system could lift that weight!

Actually, now that I look at the pic - I think you will need to LENGTHEN that top link shaft to keep the front of the mower from angling down.

I wonder if it would be OK in the center hole of the rocker? It won't lift the back from the bottom hole. I know there are 2 schools of thought on BH setup, this link is interesting...

I dunno Dan, I'm thinking I might just go with a 6' Squealer, but it is just so lightweight, I'm afraid it won't stand up.

I hear you. I have an ANCIENT Mohawk shredder with very thick plate steel on it. The thin TSC stuff is a joke.

It may be old, but it goes through anything.
