Too much oil (or oil and snake oil) will overservice your engine and may contribute to blown oil seals, etc. Your best bet now is to change your oil...and use only oil...and use the correct quantity and hope for the best. Meanwhile...at risk of starting a revolution with other good folks with opinions as strong as my own.... MMO is nothing more than kerosene, dye, and perfume. (White Laboratories, Dallas, TX analysis) It is a solvent. It does not lubricate. When you pour it into your oil, it washes 5 decades of old sludge loose and sends it throughout your engine, bearings, shafts, and etc. and offers a wonderful opportunity to scratch up surfaces that previously were polished smooth, and damage bearings. Sludge that is cooked in-place, is NOT necessarily a bad thing. It covers nonmoving parts and protects them from rust/corrosion in that high-humidity, warm/moist environment in the crankcase. (The moving parts are not harmed by it because it's stuck to the nonmoving parts, where it belongs....At least it was until you washed it into the oil and circulated it throughout the engine.) You like MMO in your fuel to lubricate upper cylinders and valve stems? How 'bout a better/cheaper solution? Add the same amount of diesel to your gas and you won't have to pay for the dye and perfume. ;Þ
