Any ideas why my oil pressure would be 0 at start up and after 10-20 seconds shoot up to 45 psi cold? Dropps to 20 after warm up.

OldFord:

It sounds like your oil pump is loosing its prime and taking several seconds to reprime.

This could be caused by a loose or cracked pick up tube.

The lower pressure after warm up is due to your oil thining out as it warms up.

I recommend inspection of your pick up tube as it will likely fall off completely if it is loose or cracked.
