Hi guys---this is a bit OT, but I am guessing somebody out there has used this disc. Can anyone tell me if a Ford Model #201 disc is too big for my 8N's to handle?

Any comments would be apprecieated--Tim

Hey Tim,

Here's a link to a thread UltraDog started last fall that might give you some idea.

I looked at one last July. The current owner was pulling it on an AC WD45. He said it would lift the front of the tractor up on occasion. My decision was that this disc might work if you shortened the gangs, but that it was much too big for an N if it was complete.

HTH

Thanks Colin---I wish I would have seen your post earlier. I did google it and finally got some info on the different sizes that were made.

The info was dated 1965. The 6 1/2' disc might work with the N's but this one is described as an 8' in excellent condition.

I thought I had hit the "disc searchers jackpot" though. Only 8 miles from the property and asking price of $300--the search continues--Tim
