Coming back from dinner in town last Friday and drove by the Ford dealer. Saw it backing off the transport and just had to stop and get a closer look. That new Ford F250 had everything! Quad cab, turbo diesel, leather, GPS, mp3, DVD, 4WD, dual tanks, and the newest thing for the Ford truck line, a heated tailgate.

...keeps your hands warm in the winter when you're pushing it (G)!

Pushing it? I don't think so. We have Ford, Dodge, and Chevy trucks in use in our construction business and on the farm, and in my experience, the Fords have been more durable and cheaper to own than the others. My powerstrokes are beasts! My daily get around vehicle is a 2001 F150 4x4 Supercrew Lariat. It has about 180,000 miles on it, and the only thing that's been replaced is the oil, and tires. It still has the original battery! FORD RULES!

And it was only $625 a month for the next 18 years???

The only trouble with MONEY is it ain't worth much...

Nice trucks though.. nice trucks.

I bet if International would come out with a stripped 6cyl,manual trans only, crank windows and a AM radio and offer no options except 2 or 4 wd they would sell all they could build. I mean just a truck not a New York condo on wheels.

I'm truck shopping right now. When ya tell a salesman "I want a long bed, regular cab, with a diesel an automatic." First he looks at you like you're some sort of worm, then shows ya a model with cheap seats in your choice of white. They might "order" one for ya if you pony up a grand or two, but all they keep in stock are "fleet" trucks and "Cowboy Cadillacs".
