I would siphon as much out as possible with a suction pump. Even one of the hand operated fuel transfer pumps would let you get it down to a few ounces. then fill the tank with a mixture of clean gas and Dry Gas per the instructions on the label. If you have 10% ethanol gasoline in your part of the country use that and skip the Dry Gas.

Run the fuel pump to purge any water you may have gotten in the fuel line and reconnect it.

Dry Gas is ethanol alcohol and it will mix with the remaining water and run through the engine without hurting anything. In fact the alcohol and water may do a pretty good job of cleaning the combustion chambers.

If it has an electric fuel pump, could you disconnect the fuel line somewhere and let it pump it dry?

Its my brothers truck and he claims that he took the fuel line off under the truck and very little pumps out. Its an older truck and not sure how good the pump is.
