I Opened my door to go outside today about 10:00 AM and saw a smokey haze and smelled smoke. WWhen I came back in I heard on my scanner from the weather service about health warning due to the smoke from Floride and Georgia fires. On the TV news at noon they said people were calling 911 to report possible fires and requested that they not call unless flames were seen. Very hazy in Northern area of NC according to reports on TV.

That South GA fire may end up being worse than all of them CA fires they are always raving about.

In the last day or so it was smoking The Big A Town.

I hope them folks don't come running this way..

But you and Hobo are more than welcome!!

Oh, yeah, I forgot the rest of my post..

Nice rain on my garden Friday, bottom fell out for 45 minutes, then a slow steady rain for an hour after that...

It was needing it today, got another really good one but not as good as the last.

My stuff is jumping out of the ground this evening.

Now ifn we can just get a few more every now and then...

And the air is awesome right now, it is a little on the cool side, just the way like it, they are talking 70s?? for the highs??
