I hope I am not doing the wrong thing speaking fro Jerry, but here is a reply he posted on the "other" board:

Doing this with my left hand only, so bear with me. The malignancy in my right shoulder was encapsulated within a larger non-malignant fatty tumor and the surgeons were able to dissect both completely with no evidence of malignant cells anywhere. I was expecting to wake up without my right arm yesterday, but the good Lord blessed me with all of you who took a few moments to seek intervention upon my behalf. Miracles do happen, thanks to friends like you. I expect to have full use of all of my right arm/hand functions following eight weeks of rehab. Unfortunately, turning wrenches will have to wait for awhile. I'll just have to live my N-fantasies vicariously through all of you. Thanks again for your prayers. You are all a remarkable group of folks.
