I don't know. I have drunk a whole lotta beer in my lifetime and I Nor anyone I know ever had egg in their beer, or wanted it, for that matter. I have always just heard that phrase.

Guys..... .the egg is hardboiled pickled in red beet juice and vinegar. (quite colorful and tasty) Pickled eggs and beer are great METHANE generator, so yer best not be fer smokin' inna the outhouse, giggle..... you guys are so WET behind the ears..... giggle.....Dell..... varooom

LOL you guys crack me up!!

Dell, I never tried the beet juice, but have ate the boiled eggs that sat for over a month in jalepeno pepper juice like someone else mentioned.

We cut them open and the yolk was green as all get-out.

They were hot enough to feel both comin' and goin'.

Hey, now Dell, Iddone those good old pickled eggs many times, they are good with beer. Not just in bet juice, but also good in pickled jalapeno juices. That will make ye remember tomorrow, what ye ate today. May have to cr_p in the creek!!
