Got my bush hog blades sharpened and got everything greased in preparation for bushhogging my place today. When I connected the pto shaft to the pto and put the pto in gear I noticed the shaft was not turning. The hydraulic lift worked ok.I'm not sure what the problem is but I suspect the orc. The one that came on this tractor has one grease zerk. Does all of the orc use roll pins to secure them to the pto? Also does anybody know what size the roll pin is? I think the length is 2" but I don't know the diameter.

and when you get that pin replaced and the ORC all greased up, pull the grease zerk out and replace it with a pipe plug. That will make for no protursions on that spinning death trap to grab your clothing and eat you up.

Roger..... .while not all ORC's are 5/16x2" roll-pin installed, some of the very expensive ones have push-buttons just like yer brushhogg PTO joint. I prefer the roll-pin, it is more secure behind those greeze zerks..... ...Dell
