Ford MC-134D, gl1, gl3 or gl5
up nort in wisconsin...so cold in the winter for push n snow and 90 in the summer for field work.

which and why?

Your choice.. either the thin 134d oil.. or the thicker 90wt.

Thinner oil works better in the cold when you first start up. however may leak in a worn system..

thicker oil may take a bit to warm up to give good hyds response int he cold.. but generally makes the pump quieter and cuts down on leaks due to marginal seals or worm lift piston rings.

Gl3 is a good oil.. TSC carries some that is probably close to a 90w gl3 oil. gl4/5 is ok if you can find some that is yellow metal safe. ( quite a few are... )
