The wife and I took a 4 day vacation this week just driving the back roads and spotted may N's, either for sale or working on the farms. We rode up through nw Ga into ne Ala, then into eastern Tenn and down through Western NC, mostly back roads. The wife is certified trained now to spot N's even inside barns. She wouldn't let me stop and look at all of them though. Met some really nice people who loved their N's though. Now I can't wait to play with my 54 NAA and 51 8N.
Only downside, took me 4 hours to catch up on the posts here. Learned a lot, though; keep 'em coming. You guys are great!!

Well Pete, as I'am sure you've heard it said before, If you can't stop, just blow the horn and wave as you go by. Glad you had a great trip. My wife acuses me of being able to smell out these tractors when we travel. Going to be a lot less travel than usual now with the fuel prices. Trips already planned into Dale, Coffee and Henry county Ala. soon and then into Edgefield county S. Carolina to visit the kids and grandkids. You can bet I'll be on the look out for those old tractors and the new ones too. Good Luck, jackie
