Sean, thanks for thinking of me... but no I am still stuck with a yard ornament instead of a tractor. I had a bright blue spark jumping 3/16" but it would not start, then I checked the timing and found that it was off a bit... adjusted it and lost my spark. I have searched that distributor over for a short and can not find one. In the process of testing, found my ammeter is not functioning right. I have ordered a new ammeter and I have to get a diode for the altenator then I will rewire it again but this time I am going to use the Dell and Phil "authorized 12V version". Then hopefully I can get a spark again, then I will hope that my fuel issue (new manifold) and overheating problems (the actual original issue that caused me to pull the hood and decide to attack installing my newly aquired wire loom and new cooper core sparkie wires while it was easy to access) and hope it will have also been solved with the prior work. I should have known not to mess with multiple issues all at once, especially when a couple of them wasn't really issues yet! Just to add insult to injury, in the process of taking off the distributor again I noticed I am going to have to invest in some bearing on my right front wheel.

Time is my problem right now, pulling too many hours at work, worked last night went home threw on my dress clothes went to church then to my inlaws for fathers day and now I am back to work,
Add to that my grass is knee high because not only is my N down so is our lawn tractor, too cheap to buy $85 dollar blade spindles + $21 dollar blades (times 3 put it at over $300 (more than I paid for the mower) just cause the little star shape is sheared off, so I am grinding off the entire star and installing dixie chopper blades which are only $16 dollars each, with a spacer to take up the difference in blade whole verses bolt, I need one more good 4 hours to finish welding a broken spot on that deck and manufacturing the spacers (they have to fit exact to avoid any wear or wobble... but much of my yard is going to require a brush hog now especially if we get the rain they are calling for this week so the N had to get done soon too...

If only I had some hay equipment... oh and a running tractor.
