Okay, in my previous post it was recommened to replace gaskets. I have done that and it seems to be leaking out, more like squirting out in the same spot. Unfortunately i cannot see it, only feel it going up through the inspection plate.
It feels like it is leaking out where the screw in thing on the side of the housing, where the big acorn nut is. If i turn that big screw in, it gets worse. If i loosen, it leaks, just not gushing like it is when turned in more. I am maxed out on frustration, i have rebuilt the assembly 3 times in the last 2 years and each time something different happens. This time i give up, i cannot think of what else to do.
Help me please.

Ryan

Oh,if someone had an internal picture/diagram of hydraulic assembly i could modify it to show where its leaking out, at least where it feels it is leaking.

Pressed into the side of the actual valve housing on the lift cover is a very thick hard rubber washer that the valve you speak of with the big acorn nut presses into (and why you back this acorn nut off before attempting to remove the lift cover). Unfortunately, these are thick and very specific - and crack/break over time - I'll bet that is your problem and is keeping it from sealing good and tight at this connection. Luckily, these can still be found at New Holland dealers if you find one that is willing to take the time to search.

Good luck,
Dan

that would explain a lot. There is no gasket. I wonder if i can make one out of a thick piece of ruber tire.
