I know this may sound dumb, but can anyone tell me what the pto shaft speed should be with the engine at max throttle, in neutral, no load.I know the specs say 545 at 1500 rpm, but I do not have a easy way to check engine rpm. I do have a good Biddle hand tach to check pto speed. Thanks.

Engine RPM/PTO RPM for the 8N, I believe the gear ratio for the 9n is the same.
1,000/363
1,500/545
1,750/636
2,250/823
