Someone had asked for photos of my 8N set to "wide track mode," with the cultivator attached. Well, here you go (we re-staged these photos, so they're not actually of us cultivating):

It's not as pretty as using GMO corn, but then again, I enjoyed the smell of fresh-turned dirt as opposed to breathing recirculated cab air tinged with Roundup...

My Grand Pa used to always mount his rear tires like that. He said if he got stuck in mud he could pop her right out in reverse.

It is eaiser to just pop one at a time and spin it around, than it is to pop both at once and swap sides, so that the tread runs the right direction.

I put tires on like that as a kid in Nebraska. Worked okay as long as dirt wasn't to soft, or wet. I got bogged down and spun too much.
