How do cultivators compare with S shaped tines v. rigid Ferguson type? Anyone used both, preferences?

the original "C" tines are harder to find. www.kraftimplement.com carries them.
just send him an email. you can get the tine and the backer or a heavier single tine.

"S" tines are danish type. they tend to vibrate more. still, the price is about the same for replacement tines.

Arthur, I have the old Fergason 7 ft cultivator and like it except for when it it time to channge configuration. I am gardening a sixth of an acre. It looks like the Danish style tine is quick to move or change.

I don't know much about farming. Well, serious gardening in my case.

In decending importance my guess is as follows:
1) plow
2) disk
3) cultivator

Or maybe Roundup should be on top.
