Hi all and thanks for your previous help.

I am not anywhere near my new 8N (1250 miles away right now) but I have acquired a class 2 third arm for my three point hitch. I plan to use it with a 6 foot blade which was previously used with class 2 hitch. The price on the blade was right(free)so I am going to try to make it work. Can you tell me if the sperical bearing will fit the 8N 3rd arm mounting bracket? I figure I might have to put a bushing in the ID provided the width will go between the flanges. Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks for the replys guys I really appreciate the input. I thought that might be the case. I'm picking the tractor up on my way through Craig Colorado at the dealer I purchased it from and he will probably have a correct link. This is a great board with an incredible amount of help and expertise. I'm sure I'll have many more questions when I get the tractor home.

According to my chart, the category 1 inside width of the toplink is 1.75 inches. the category 2 is
2.06 Thats on the implement. On the tractor it is
Cat 1 width 1.73 Cat.2 width 2.01 You also have the radius of the toplink to contend with. The
Cat 2 will be more than the Cat. 1 I would have to
say the Category two toplink won't fit an 8N.

Any farm tractor dealer nearby where you live should be able to supply you with exactly what you need. New Holland would probably be the best if there's one nearby.
