I was changing out the seat on my 46 2N when I noticed several cracks in the lift cover. The front spring bolt was barely catching enough threads to keep it in, & about 25% of the top of the rear bolt hole was broken off. I can't imagine how someone could break a top cover! It may have been that way for 30 years & didn't bother anyone.... till now! Waddaya think? Pull the top cover & have it brazed? Or don't worry about it.

Hey Poot, Remember that these old tractors have seen some serious use over the years... Any way, I have a lift cover for a 9N/2N that's in good shape if you are interested. I am in Md, so figure out if it's worth it to ship it.
