Thanks for posting Tim. Love the parade pics. Makes me wish I had restored mine earlier in my daughter's life, when she was in the local parades. Looks like great fun.

Jeff

Great photos and it looks like you had good weather! Did you candy controller do an end of parade audit?

Very nice Tim. It's people like you that restore my faith in humanity when the news is full of bad things that people do. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Looks like a lot of fun! My wife & I went across the county to enjoy the festivities in the little town we lived in for 15 years. They always have a 'non-motorized' parade, meaning lots of kids, bikes & dogs. About 10 years ago, one on the neighbors formed "Lee's Lawn Chairs"; old folks doing tricks w/ lawn chairs. Sorta. Not to be out done, we started the "Bassett Brigade"; one year we had 30 basset hounds marching! This year, the "Basset Brigade" was still represented by 10 bassets. We took Felix, our 4 year old 125 lb bloodhound. I told everyone he was an adult basset, or a basset on steroids, and we marched w/ the bassets! Quite a fun day.

Bruce--sounds like fun. The best entries in our parade were all the kids that decorated their bikes, wagons, trikes, etc. There had to be well over 200 kids at the beginning of the parade.

The dogs in the parade are a new one. What a cool idea. Do they have the "super duper scooper troopers" following the dogs??

Glad to here you all had a fun time.

I love the 4th of July----- Tim

Tim, here is the link to the Richmond paper w/ a story about the parade. I don't know if the picture will link, but it was a front page picture of one of the bassets!
