The '50 frontmount got a real workout this weekend. As previously posted, I had raked the hay several evenings ago, and raked it again Friday around noon before baling it late in the afternoon. The NH 68 Hayliner continues to shine - no broken bales and every one came out nice and tight. Here's a photo or three of the N with the 3pt Dearborn rake:

Saturday, I went and drop-baled some grass hay in the waterway at the north end of the property, and then flipped the tires around to 'wide track' mode and cultivated the corn again (last time, as it's up past the axles now). While I had the tires in wide mode, I put the rotary mower on and ran the ditches - there's a very low pucker factor with the tires out so wide.

I finished up and put everything away (tires back to normal mode), and did a little more roofing on the house. As it got completely dark, the whole family joined me on the roof and we watched fireworks all around us on the horizon…

Here's a little something my wife cooked up for Independence Day:

I was moving stuff around with the carry all first. Then I put on my pond scoop to get some dirt down next to the creek to finish filling a hole from an above ground pool that died. I hadn't used it for a few years and forgot how handy it was. Then I had to put on my scraper and drag it smooth. Then I had to put on the finish mower. The front 3 acres have not been mowed for a couple of months because of no rain. Then I had to put on my trailer hitch ball to move an empty 2400 lb trailer. I ran out of time before I could go across the creek and drag some downed trees back to the house to cut up and split for firewood. Thank god for 3 point hitches.

You're of course correct - it is a Fergeson. Got my manufacturers mixed up!

Ed- isn't that a Ferguson rake? I picked one up at an auction this spring that looks just like it for $275. Tires are about shot, but otherwise it's in good shape. I also have a Ford 503 that needs some attention right now. Either one is a nice match for my '53 Jubilee. Thanks for posting the picture. -Mark
