I am in the process of putting my engine back together. I got the new intake valves installed with no problem using my "C" type spring compressor. Now the exhaust is a different story. I tried it with everything assembled and without and just cannot get it all in there at one time. I know there has to be a way, but I have yet to figure it out. If anyone has a blow by blow on how to do this, It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rodney

Thanks Hobo, that is just what I was needing. I had thought about going about it that way but I told myself it would not work before I even tried it. Just last week I saw a big screw driver out in the middle of the road and stopped and picked it up. It will be just perfect for this. Thanks again.

Old valve tools for "L" head engines
Blue Point CF49 valve lifter
Blue Point CF-7 keeper holder
These are the ones my father used on his '51 8N back in the 1950's Worked just fine too!
