ok, i found 5 sets of rock plow shares for my 10-156 dearborn 14" plow. i took my old bent one over by this retired farmer(happened to be a blacksmith making $18/hr in the 50s if he fixed 18 shares in the hour). He had brand new(old)shares there. I mentioned ya'll said that oliver may work for that plow. We matched them up and wa-la. So I have 5 sets. Only going to keep two. If anyone is interested, let me know. Also, those red ones I showed a pic of before. They are IH 14" shares.

8nr, yes, i will contact him. i think that those shares look like the ones i just bought from him. i bet you got rock shares on your plow. the throwaways that i just took off did not have the aggressive point like a rock share. the last hole is where you can measure from(or have someone at the farm measure). anyway, the last hole has a strap on it. it will adjust or swing out to meet up(hole wise) with the different types of shares. so, measuring from the center of the last hole to the second hole is 4 3/8" and 10" from the last hole to the third hole. if you want i'll post another pic with a tape measure measuring across the holes later on.

Can't use a plow to many rocks-Upper reaches of Columbia river-must import top soil for lawn.

Arthur...glad to see you found some shares. Happy plowing. I plowed some yesterday...before it started raining again.

Arthur---did you see any of these shares over at the farmers" place? If so, I would be interested in picking some up. They "wrap" around the front of the plow like a fish hook and butt up to the landslide. They are one-piece Dearborn"s on an Economy Plow. It has a 3-bolt pattern with the front bolt hole slightly offset from the rear 2.

If you look close at the picture, you can see the line where this share butts up against the rectangular land slide plate.---Tim

8nr, aren't you somewhere around green bay somewhere? the shares are in shawano.
anyway, he has a dearborn 2 bottom there without shares. also, he has a stack of various types of shares. i am pretty sure i know what you mean about what you need. can you send me a close up photo from that same angle and from the front?
this guy is retired now but saved so many things so you may just get darn lucky.
i'll check for your photo.
