If it looks like this I think it is a Knoedler. I am going to rebuild this one some day.

Does it look like this? If so, that's a Monroe EZ Ride, and very much an object of desire. Colin

I got one of those for the hundered series. Shock mounts a little different. Never have used it, sitting on the shelf in the garage. Whats it worth? I currently have a Knoedler on my 861 and really like it.

Wayne, email me. I will take some photos and email them back to you and we will go from there. Know anyone who wants a used 12v conversion kit for the hundred series? I took it off my 861, everything works. Thanks

Crazy...I really like mine & I'm 6-3. The coil was not enough to carry my weight(250), so I added a booster & shim to level the seat.

Dunno. That's a photo from John Smith's N accessory page.

I think Dan and KLaRue have E-Z Rides that they rebuilt.

No,the shock is in the spring and the seat moves back and forth.

Pete:

It might be a Knoedler. The shock is inside of a coil spring mounted behind the seat on the Knoedler. I have one on my 1951 8N and like it very much.

No matter what type of aftermarket seat you have you can remove it and install the original equipment spring type seat.

Dean
