How much is this something like this worth?

older 6 foot ford disc front row notched blades, rear row smooth blades, good shape 3pt.

I was thinking $500, the asking price.

I bought a Dearborn 11-135 "flip-disc" a few months ago for 350.00. It will get the front end of my 8n off the ground as it is with no extra weight. It cuts good and deep. Can unbolt and flip the back 2 gangs up on the front to get extra cutting weight. I thought I got a good deal considering new discs that are made much cheaper go for 2 to 3 times more!

I have a dearborn that looks nearly identical to Hobo's other than mine is red and has a telephone pole wired on it for weight. Bought it several years ago for $100.

Now I feel like I got a great bargain...

I paid $300.00 for mine. It has angle adjustment on the discs.

I found one very similar, a Dearborn, for $350. It's a 6'. No paint, but intact, no damaged discs...

Hobo, I'm with ya! I got a 7ft Dearborn just like this one. One of the best cut'in disc's I have ever used. I was offered $750.00 in bill's and turned it down. My 861 and this disc make a excellent combo.

Hey, Hobo, you better get that solar panel covered up, before it blisters in this hot sun. (grin) Don't that disc lift the front end off the ground? It looks a lot longer than mine, and it makes my front end light.

Hey , Hobo, it looks like you have the smoothe discs in the front and the notched on the back of that one. I was alaways told the notched discs go in front to cut up the stalks and other trash before the smoothe discs push them together in front of the discs. The discs with the notches holds the trash down and cuts it up before the smoothe ones get it. Of course I may be wrong, but it makes sense to me. You may have notched on the front also, I can't tell very well from the picture. I'll bet that one does make you steer wif the brakes if ye lift it. I finally got about 1/4" of rain last evening, Maybe that will help save my corn that is just now tasseling.

All of'em are notched. I put up 300 ears saturday, and turned the field over to the vouchers (kin folk) to have at it.

RP--right you are---here is one that went for less than $200 a few weeks ago on Ebay in OHIO.

Ebay # 110140111441

This would go for $400-$600 in WI if you could even find one.---Tim
