Removed the six front support bolts, four transmission bolts and 14 pan to block bolts. Got it to drop down in the back, but the front particularly on right side refuses to give up.

No, I don't have the FO 4 manual, but the Operators Manual give abreviated instructions.... I had the pan off about 10 years ago, with no problem.

This is probably what destroys most things, Good Intentions.

There must be a bolt in the front that I haven't found? The bottom is quite exposed and easy to see, so it must be from above?

As 56Henry said - there are two "phantom" bolts on the front of the tractor just under the crank pulley. You may need to scrape some gunk off around the lip at the bottom of the block to find it as many front oil seal leaks collect dirt and build up here.

Do these screw in from the bottom or top. The front axle support is in the way from the bottom. Maybe I need to remove the front axle support? The six bolts that hold it to the pan are already removed.

You need to at least put the two furthest bolts back in, and I would put the two closest to the front on the sides back in also. You do not want to be supporting that heavy oil pan by just the front two bolts...

I believe the two front bolts are bolted in from the top.

Dan
