My grandfather is giving me his 2N. It's somewhere between a 1944 1/2 to a 1947.

He bought it used in 1947 from the ford dealer.

It had been sitting for 15 years since he last started it.

We got it going after about 20 minutes. Only had to take the distributor off of the front and adjust the gap (there was no gap to start with). I was pretty shocked that it started up so easily.

I got a new 6v battery for it and I'll be bringing it the grill and the implements home next weekend to start cleaning it up some.

It's got some sort of '50s truck or car steering wheel on it, he said a pine tree fell on it and broke the original one. It's a teal blue sort of color.

Well Congratulations on your "new" tractor. You will have a good time getting in tip top shape, you might even try to restore it someday. Here is a picture of my restored 1943 2N (109493)
Good Luck
Gregg
