Need some help. Is there any way to adust the 3 point lift on a 9n? I have a bush hog mower on and when I need to raise the mower, if I am not real careful, the shaft contacts the mower. I would like to know if I can adjust the lift to not go so high when raised. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

The lift on the 9N/2N can't be adjusted to prevent it comeing all the way up.

I make and sell a position control device to use on these tractors exclusively that will give you a positive position/height control of the lift and you can then raise it as high as you want to and it will stay there without creeping up or down.

Click on my logo below for information on the device and others for the N series tractors that I make.

Some folks say they SHORTEN the upper link or arm and then use limiter chains to support the front of the bush hog during use. Shortening the upper arm raises the gearbox higher and usually provides a more favorable angle for the PTO shaft.

Food for thought... duey

It's the cat's meow. Made my N-Ford a real pleasure with whatever implement I use.
