use a 20 ton press and press them in or out today a whole lot easyer that way. don't have to frezee them or heat them at all today. turn roll stock that 3 3/4 and make a sleve tool instead... and it work great where i found metal at hyd shop ask for used steel too

Back in days of yore, if'n you bought the sleeve/piston sets from the local Ford dealer, they lent you the puller. Bought mine at TSC because they were on sale ($99 IIRC), but the Ford parts guy took pity on me when I bought the gasket overhaul set from them and gave me a puller anyway.

Going to an auction tomorrow that has lots of old Ford parts. If there's a puller amongst all that junk, will probably try to bid on it.

I have one I will sell. You can click on the link below and then click on "Restoring" and you will see a pic of it in there. I will sell it for $40 plus $20 for shipping (I paid $50 and used it once, and it is heavy). I obtained a very nice custom puller/installer set from The Old Hokie and don't need this one now.

If you can spare a little more cash, you might talk him into making you a set. They are first class!

Nothing like a happy customer! Here's a pic of the set - I will sell the puller ala carte. I have a backlog of orders but if you are in URGENT need of just the puller I can expedite.
