Someone told me the other day that it"s a good idea to spray a little WD-40 through the spark plug holes into the cylinder of my 2n to help lube the pistons since it"s sat for about a year and a half. I"m not sure I agree with him, would appreciate the thoughts of somebody with some experience. Thanks.

WD40 will hurt more then help since its silicone based. Now tranny fluid or MMO thats another story. My self I NEVER use MMO becuase it cost 3 times more then tranny fluid and the tranny fluid does the same thing it just doesn't smell as good. I have an *N I will be hauling in, in a few days that the first thing I will do is fill the cylinders with tranny fluid

Forget the WD-40.

You have 2 very good choices, Automatic Transmission Fluid, or Marvel Mystery Oil.

I recommend Automatic transmission Fluid.
