Our 2N ford is leaking oil at the rear axle seals and we have oily brakes. We are having a hard time deciding how to pull the bearing hub off of the axle. We have Sure-Seals and the outer seals in hand, have the service and parts manual, but need to know how to pull the bearing off the axle to install the outer seal. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!!!

Does anyone just replace the sure seals and leave the outer seal in place?? Would this work??

All you need is the Sure Seal. Stuff a bunch of grease in the bearing before installing the Sure Seal.Fill with tranny oil only till it runs out the bottom bolt hole on the side inspection plate.
Make it a little easier, bevel the outer edge of the Sure Seal before trying to start installing it.
