Will be bidding on a '53 Golden Jubilee at an upcoming auction. Runs and drives well, sheet metal solid, hours unknown, tires not so great, in desperate need of paint/restoration. I know it's hard to judge without a picture, just looking for ballpark estimates. Thanks...

Would need to have a picture to give a rough est.!
There are two of them for sale in the Photo Ads, on this web site.

Go to phto ads, then click on tractors, enter Golden Jubalie in the search box. They may give ya an idea of what they are going for!!??? Those look to be in good shape, but as usual, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Good luck.

Bum tires and needs restored/painted? Maybe $2000, IF the mechanical condition warranted that much money. If it started easily, didn't smoke and had no major mechanical faults, that'd be about tops here in my area of PA.

Hard to predict auction prices. Things fetch different bucks in different parts of the country and sometimes people lose their heads at auctions, regardless of the item or location.

Watched a rusty 9N w/little manure loader, fetch a thousand dollars last fall and that thing had sat in the same spot in the yard for 15-20 years. Four rotten tires (flat), stuck engine, not an inch of paint, some rust-throughs and the loader looked like a team of asylum inmates had installed it.
