I'm also leaning towards fuel obstruction.. etc.could be in or before carb.. etc... Seat mainjet then re-adjust. Also check bowl drain..e tc.

Gary gave you some good advice. My 1952 8N was giving problems, partly a bad ignition switch. After I replaced that it started fine but would kill after 30 seconds. I had almost no gas flow so I drained the tank and cleaned the screen in the tank, blew out the lines, my problem was the screen above the sediment bulb was caked with rust. I scraped it off with a pocket knife and bingo problem solved. There is also a screen where the fuel line goes into the carbetator.

RC;

Sounds like it is time to clean the sediment bowl screen. Shut the gas off at the tank, remove the bowl, check for rust/or deposits in the bowl and screen. Get a glass jar and hold it under the valve, then turn the fuel on. If you have good steady flow, then the prob. has been fixed, but.... there is another pipe looking screen up in the tank, at the top of the gas valve. Then ya got to drain the tank, and take the whole gas valve assembly off to clean that out too.
