Well it now runs on all 4 cylinders most of the time. One exhaust valve sticks off and on. Also seems like every time I try to start it up I have to prime the oil pump or I have no oil pressure and I still have an oil leak seems to be comeing from the pan gasket. So I figure I'll end up taking the loader off and then dropping the oil pan to see why I loose prime and also so I can replace the pan gasket and maybe stop the oil leak. Oh well still not all that bad since we only payed $100 for it

haha! A $100 bucks, eh? How could you go wrong with that. The loader's probably worth more than that ;-)

Sounds like you're making good progress. Oil pump rebuild down the road, though? What's the oil pressure like?

Colin

Oil pressure when running is over 20PSI hot or cold. I don't have the cooling system working at this time so I can only run it 5-10 minutes if even that long. Fan belt if gone and theres no genny or alternator on it. Yep I figure the loader is worth around $200-300 since I know for sure it works good and doesn't leak down even after being up since sunday. Pump on the loader looks almost new even though I know its 30 plus years old

Nope never will be a trailer queen as long as I own it. Now maybe when and if some one else buys it from me who knows. I got it cheap because the guy knows me and knew I would get it back up and running or use it to get others up and running.
