Wife says she is going block my computer from getting on ebay. But these two items caught my eye, and i bought them. I know my 2N won't pull them, but it give's me an excuse to buy another tractor this spring.lol..I think I got a deal on them maybe, maybe not. $102.00 for one, and 200.00 for the plow.

I am not sure how to eliminate one of the bottoms. I spec it i had it on a tractor i could figger it out. One thing I know is you can not give a 3 bottom plow away around hear. Not Zackly sure why. I would think its cuzz theirs not many tractors that can pull a 3 bottom.
Most tractors around here are the N size or Farmall 100/130/140 one and 2 bottom tractors. Then they git rite big 2 big for a 3 bottom.

Funny there is a picture in a encyclopedia that shows a jubilee pully the SAME exact graham hoeme chisel plow!!on the plow. the 2 bottom should work reasonably for all types of soils. Lot us guys on bigger tractors either pull many bottoms slow or use one less bottom and plow faster. Some guys think you can do more pulling one less bottom faster and get over more ground that way.

I new the 3 point plow was to much for the N. Didnt know if you could take one of the plows off and make a 2 point out of it? If not it will be tractor time...lol
Told wife I was looking for a 5 or 6 ft disc. next and she just rolled her eyes at me..No sense of humor, but she knows me, and I will find one close. Hate to pay to have one hauled from way off to get it home...

I don't have any experience with bottom plows, but I do with shank plows, and they are all that I need.

I have had a set of 3 point disks, they were cheepies, and I nearly gave them away to git rid of em. They did nothing.

Now back when I was a kid and my Daddy had an AC, he had a cutting harrow disk, and a smoothing harrow set of disks that were one point, and pull a rope, and backup adjustable, them are the only disks that I have ever seen that actually did werk land.

I think you got a deal, and your 2N should pull the 5 shank just fine.

NO, I don't think it will pull the 3 bottom.

When you git the other shank back on your 5 point, you can take the middle one off and cultivate your row crops.

You can also git some plow wings (a left and a right, and hill rows up.

You can also take all off but the middle one, and put a left and a right wing on it with the chisel foot and plow ditches, plow up taters, or lay off rows...

Many things you can do with that 5 shank.
