Low oil pressure on a rebuild.. you get a new pump? get it line bored to fit?

new bearings?

Have seen some with cam shell inserts.. but that's the exception not the rule..

On 2nd thought.. what are you calling low pressure?

do the spark test the other poster mentioned and post back.

6v or 12v, front or side distributor?

Like Ross sez, sometimes a newly rebuilt engine just needs to be pull started the first time or two. If that doesn't work, or you can't pull it, you need to figure out if it's spark or fuel causing the problem.

Get an old plug, open the gap to 3/16, ground it to a rust & paint free spot on the head, turn the key on & crank the engine. You have three possibilities: no spark, weak and/or intermittent yellow spark, or a bright blue spark. What is it? Next, check for fuel. Remove the bolt in the bottom of the carb; as long as the fuel is turned on, you should see gas flowing out of the carb.

Post back; you will get plenty of help.

Put it in third gear and try pull starting it, but watch the oil pressure and shut it down if it don't come up. Good luck!!
