I used the True Value XO paint (Tractor Red) on my '41 9N chassis including engine. It went on real well with a brush, hid alot of imperfections and is holding up really good on the engine. I used the spray can of the same paint on the small removalble parts.

Ditto what dave said. When i spray my tractors, the engine gets the same paint as the rest of the cast.. etc.

Lance,

Right there in Brenham at that auto parts across from Southerlands, I found some what I think they called extreme manifold paint. Put in on a new exhaust and followed directions. Wish I'd read them before gettin two cans cause according to the specs on the can you want a pretty light coat. After curing it by starting and idling for 10 minutes first. Cool down and repeat for 20 minutes. After that run it normal. Holding up real good.

Contact me if you need the extra can ;-)

Fogged mine with Krylon BBQ paint in matte black (before painting the intake and engine in red), ditto for the tail pipes.
