I know I've seen this situation on here before but cannot find it.

8n front mount/6volt.
The lever that lifts the 3pt now needs to be pull up higher to get 3 pt to lift. Before I would pull the lever and she would gradually lift. Now it does not begin to move upward until Im almost to the top of the lever travel?

I thought I heard this can be adjusted but not sure how. Also is this a sign of something else that needs tending to?

I do plan to drain her and clean up the pump and all that with kerosene this fall as read on here many times. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

It is possible that the cam follower/dowel pin has worn badly or even worn into. The lift cover would have to be removed to fix that.

I sell an instruction booklet with a jig that allows you to properly adjust the lift linkage the first time. I also include a new cam follower/dowel pin to replace the worn one on the linkage.

See the link below for more information.

Draft control? in reply to Todd - NY, 09-21-2007 05:18:15
This may sound silly but did you check your position/draft lever? Sounds like you are in draft control mode. Be sure the litle lever under your seat is pointing up.
