I have seen these advertised before. They appear to be very well made and actually look a lot like the originals complete with rivets, etc.

The distance between mounting holes on my bumpers is 25". On these repros, the mounting holes are 22" apart.

Do you think you can spread these with a hydraulic jack to get them to fit?

Tim

I think you can, they are extremely hard to git to spread. when they first came out I ordered 4 of'em, one for me and 3 to sell. Had a little hard of a time git it on but once on looked and fit well after I repainted it. Never had a complaint of the the ones I sold. ship'n now days is a killer they are heavy. I put my zip in and it came to $55.00, even at $110.00 plus 55 its not a bad deal if you consider they look and function like a original. To me i think they are stronger than a original. Again they are very well built, plenty of meat in'em. Welding on the toung in yer ebay pix looks like I would have to redo it tho.
Pix of the ones I sold but I can not remember if its the one I repainted and fixed up for my self, I spec it is tho. BTW I am sure YT has'em for sell

The holes look slightly slotted to me... and he did say 'approx' 22".. meaning to me.. he didn't measure real good.

it is made of metal.. i don't see why you can't bolt one side up, support it on a jack stand, and then bottle jack or farm jack it to fit.

Use wood blocks to control local deformation o fthe metal at the jack points.. Ie.. a 3' or 4" piece of 2x4 to make it a sloping bend, and not a 'crease' at one point on either mounting arm..etc.

I seem to recall my TSC bumper needing to be spread an inch or so to get it to mount onmy naa and 2n.. no biggie

I opted for a 4 bar welded repro for about $85, although it peeved me that the hitch tab is not centered and slightly crooked. May be forced to burn it off and reweld it, or just not look at it and let'er be.

A cousin has original bumpers installed on two of his Fords and has one spare. Tried to pry the extra riveted bumper from him for my Jubilee, but the pieface claims he may get another tractor for the extra bumper, instead.

I need to talk to his wife and convince her that he needs no more Fords.

My 8n has an original rivited bumper.. though i did have to re-make 1 rung for it. my 2n and NAA have a 75$ tsc bumper... looks just as beefy to me to get the job done.

My 660 and 850 both have thinner cheaper repro bumpers made of 1/4 angle iron and 3/8 flat for the axle mount.. they are good 'brush' deflectors.. and since i have a fel on them.. the bumper doesn't have to do much more than push weeds out of the way.. paid about 55 bucks for the cheapies.. but I like the way they look.
