Recently finished fixing my oil tube problem. It works again. My oil pressure gauge has returned to its 30 psi range while running. GOOD DEAL!

but.... What a hassle. It really was not that bad, just a bunch of time. It only took me about 5 hours to take it apart and the same to re-button her together. I found my front king pin is badly worn. I replaced the destroyed bushing in hopes of lengthening its life. The tie rod end needed to be replaced (not becuase they were worn , but because the threads were so buggered up that I could not get them back on).

Oh yea, you MUST take the plate that the tube connects to off when you heat it up. I toasted it because it is only paper. THe good thing is that I got the tube "tacked" on in the right position. SMelled something burning.. undid the wire through the bolts removed the plate and found a fried gasket. Mounted the whole thing in the vise and brazed it again. RTV'd the thing back together...

All better now. just need to grease up my new tie rod ends.....

Happy motor-N
Steve
