Did you put the front pulley back on the crank shaft yet?

Ummmm, I don't think that answered my question.

Did you put the front pulley back on the crank shaft yet?

It would be lots better if it was on the crank, before you put the oil pan on, it is still possible after, but may mess up yer rope seal getting it back in, if you don't have it on when you set, and torque the oil pan.

It would have been best if it was on when you set the mains, as far as the rope seal is concerned.

The rope seal, seals against the front pulley collar that slides over the crank shaft.

I could be off my rocker.

Guess Ill do the valves after I get it bolted back on the bell housing...the cam is out of it and there is no room to get it all the way back in while the engine stand plate is in the way.

Yes Ricko 700 I put on as many parts as I can while the engine it on the stand before bolting the engine back on the tractor.
