1951 8N looses oil pump prime part 2

Well I pulled the oil pick up off the pump and looked the whole thing over real good. Didn't find any cracks in the line but I did find a bit of wear on the plate that sits up to the 2 gears. I then took some find sand paper and sanded the wear places out of the plate and buttoned it back up and it now works just fine. Now if I can just get #2 exahust valve to stop sticking open on me. By the way #1, 3,and 4 all have 150 PSI compression so I think its going to work out to be a good little tractor when I'm done.
Thanks for the ideas guys at least I knew then what I was needing to look at

Thanks for the feed back. htat plate waqs worn in mine also and I did just as you did. I am anxious to get mine runing. The weather has been killing me on parts painting.
